07/26/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Tony is a coachable SS/C prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Tony takes a good first step and shows active footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, working to keep his throws accurate to his target. Tony can develop defensively by working to improve his arm accuracy. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He gets into a simple load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to solid gap to gap pop. Working a smoother rhythm into his load can help Tony improve as a hitter. Overall, Tony is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.
