Tony is a tall, 2-way player who pitches and catches. On the mound, Tony has a loose arm, eyes on target, and his balance point is controlled. He has good direction toward home, his off-speed are solid, and he finishes completely. More level shoulders and finishing off his pitches will spike mound effectiveness. Behind the plate, Tony has soft / sure hands, playable feet, and he holds a low target. He deadens the ball when blocking, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a long arm action to 2nd base. Catching will get better if Tony can quicken his feet, widen his base, and add arm strength. Offensively, Tony has a square set-up, good balance, and average bat speed. He makes hard contact, uses all fields, and gets his lower 1/2 through. More aggressiveness, better timing, and added lower 1/2 will spike hitting tool grades.
