09/04/2020 - HS All-Region Tournament Tre’cy continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate with carry (80 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields well through a line drive approach.

12/14/2019 - Florida Regional Offensive Skills Weekend (Ages 14-18) Tre'cy is an athletic and talented 2023 switch hitting prospect that was eager to learn. At the plate, Tre'cy starts in a squared stance, he loads his hands back into the drive position, and rotates his back side through the ball. He has a direct swing path and is a line drive hitter. From the right side he has a quality approach but needs to continue to attack the inside part of the ball. From the left side, he needs to continue to get reps and keep a middle approach. Tre'cy is a hard worker and we hope to see his progress in the future.

11/17/2019 - College PREP - Montgomery, AL Tre'cy continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but he will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. Hands are loose and works through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Hitting grades will continue to improve as he works to get stride foot down sooner to work on time.

04/28/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Manalapan, NJ Tre'cy is an athletic, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Tre'cy has quick/fluid feet, he moves with agility to the ball, and he fields low and athletically. He has soft hands, makes plays consistently, and throws with accuracy and consistency across the diamond. In the OF, Tre'cy has good pre-pitch actions, quick feet, and he fields in a square position. He tracks the ball well, makes plays, and delivers the ball with accuracy to his cut off man. Offensively, Tre'cy has an open/athletic set-up, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He attacks aggressively, has fast bat speed, and he makes consistent contact to all fields. Solid overall skills can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
