01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament This athletic & speedy MIF continues to shine. At the plate, this leadoff type of hitter stands in with a square/crouched setup. He has fluid rhythm to load while his quick hands whip the barrel through the zone. He squares the ball up consistently and is quick out of the box and down the 1B line. In the MIF, he works lightly on the balls of his feet and covers a ton of ground laterally. Hands are presented out in front as he gathers softly. Tre is a talented prospect who will play at the next level.

10/12/2016 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Tre is a talented 2B/OF prospect who has an athletic, projectable frame and graduates in 2017. Offensively, Tre has a crouched stance with a square stride and solid load. He has smooth rhythm with an on-plane swing producing consistent contact. Tre battles at the plate and has the ability to be a situational hitter as he sprays the ball to all fields. At 2B, Tre has good footwork approaching the baseball athletically in a low position. He has soft hands and a clean exchange leading into a long arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Tre is smooth with his double-play footwork and has good body control. In the outfield, Tre has an aggressive approach and fields the ball athletically. He has a long crow hop and is working to quicken his release. Overall, Tre has the athletic ability and skill set to impact a program in multiple areas of the game.

09/04/2016 - College PREP - San Francisco, CA Tre is an athletic 2B/OF prospect. He has blazing speed (6.69 second 60 time) that he uses to cause havoc on the bases and that gives him good range in the field. He is a steady fielder at second, making all the plays, the hallmark of a good middle infielder. He presents his hands to field and gains ground to his target, making accurate throws to the bases. At the dish, this RHH has good rhythm and balance with active hands and a strong lower half. He has a quick bat through the zone and takes his hands directly to the ball, making consistent contact. Getting separation between his hands and lower half will lead to more hard contact and base hits. We look forward to watching Tre progress on the baseball field.

01/15/2016 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Tre is an athletic MIF who showed well during his time in Arizona. Foot speed is outstanding as he runs his 60 in 6.68. This leadoff type hitter stands in well with an athletic/balanced setup. He has rhythm to load, whips the barrel on a level path and hits line-drives consistently. At 2B - Tre has active footwork and comes to get the GB. He funnels smoothly and has a clean exchange to throw. He covers ground laterally and can make the tough plays to his GS & BH. Tre will make an impact as he enters his junior season.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
