08/05/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Trent is a big, strong and athletic RHP/1B that will graduate in 2014. Currently, he projects best on the mound for the next level. Delivery is sound and repeatable allowing his arm action to work smooth to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 77-81 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He maintains are speed on his changeup, showing a feel for with fading action. Control is a solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as more arm strength is gained through a long toss program. Foot speed is solid as indicated by his 7.33 60 time. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. For defensive grade to continue to improve, he needs to attack balls and play through while presenting hands more out front. At the plate, Revis shows an athletic setup with balance / rhythm. Hands are quick, generating bat speed through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel with baseball jumping off the bat when centered. Hitting grades will continue to improve as he works to get stride foot down sooner to work on time. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a hard worker and is very coachable. Trent has abilities and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
