10/10/2018 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Trevor is an athletic and tall 2019 3B prospect that worked hard all week. At the hot corner, Trevor anticipates the ball off the bat, shows range on both sides of the glove, and plays through his back hand. He presents a low/early glove and throws from multiple arm angles. At the plate, Trevor starts in a tall stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and stays balanced through contact. He creates backside rotation with his lower half and keeps the barrel on plan with the ball. Continuing to stay back when he initiates the swing and attacking the inside part of the ball will allow him to drive the ball gap to gap consistently. Trevor will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

07/25/2018 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Trevor continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to squares balls up but needs to attack and play through more. Glove action is soft but will benefit by presenting more out front. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with throws showing zip (82 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and make consistent contact with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to improve as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently through the swing. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

06/16/2018 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Trevor continues to show steady progress on the diamond. At 3B, feet are active as he moves well laterally, displaying range. Hands / feet work well together as he presents glove well out front. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a balanced setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He works inside the ball and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

05/06/2018 - College PREP - Colorado Springs, CO Trevor is a hard hitting 3B graduating in 2019. In the field, Trevor shows solid mechanics. Trevor starts with a good pre-pitch routine with efficient feet that allow him to gain ground and create angles to the ball. He shows a square fielding position, presenting his hands out front and making clean exchanges into his throws. Trevor shows a short arm action from a high 3/4 arm slot as he makes accurate throws to his targets using his body's momentum to throw the ball on a line with carry. At the plate, Trevor shows a line drive approach. He has a tall set up with a good load and keeps his balance center. He leads with his lower half and has an on-plane swing path making square contact with the ball. Trevor could see more consistent contact with a more fluid rhythm and a shorter stride to the ball. With more development, Trevor could play at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
