Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 3B/RHPPosition Projection

08/26/2018 - College PREP - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Trevor is a prospect who has really improved his baseball abilities. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable allowing his arm action to work free to the plate. He shows good tempo through a strong balance point and throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 84 mph. Breaking ball displays 12/6 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs at the next level. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At SS, defensive abilities are now well above average as he displays smooth fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft and presents well out front. At the plate, hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side.

12/27/2015 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 Trevor is a hard worker who continues to make great strides in his game. He is a team player who does with it takes to provide the team success. Offensively, this RHH displays a square/athletic setup with goo balance. He has fluid rhythm in his hands and waits for his pitch. Barrel delivery is quick through a level path as he engages his lower 1/2 well generating some pop off of the barrel. Even more power potential is there with more extension through contact. On the mound, Trevor works to a tall balance point, has smooth separation and drives off of the rubber with a strong lower 1/2. Arm works loose/free as he repeats well. FB shows good cut - now topping out at 76 mph. Changeup shows to be best off-speed pitch with sink as he keeps it down in the zone. He finishes complete and fields the position well. At SS, Cisco has active footwork and moves well into a square fielding position. He gathers well and makes strong/accurate throws across the diamond. Continuing to develop his footwork/agility will increase lateral range and aid in his development in the MIF. Trevor is a talented 2-way player who has a bright future ahead of him.

08/16/2015 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Trevor is a young R/R 2-way player as a RHP/SS. On the bump, this righty has a 3-pitch mix coming from a low 3/4 arm slot. He works to a controlled balance point, has smooth separation and stays directional toward the plate. FB shows run while ranging from 71-75 mph. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with gradual action. Changeup has sink and compliments FB well. At SS, he shows active footwork and comes to get the GB. He is sure handed and funnels the ball to a clean exchange to throw. As a hitter - Trevor has a balanced setup with a solid base. He squares the ball up and pulls the inside pitch. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

1. Arm strength (long toss)
2. Finish with extension
3. Arm action
Infield
1. Glove presentation
2. Play through
Offense

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
