Trevor worked out both on the mound and at 1B during his last workout in DC. On the hill, Trevor keeps his eyes on his target, he gathers himself well, and he competes in the zone with his pitches. He separates on time, lands in a square direction, and finishes out over his front knee. Added arm strength and sharper off speed will help abilities on the mound improve. In the INF, Trevor showed good hustle, soft hands and the ability to play through the baseball. He has the ability to pick the ball out of the dirt and he throws with a short arm action to his target. Continuing to quicken his feet, fielding further out front, and adding arm strength all will improve defensive numbers. Offensively, Trevor has a square setup, decent barrel accuracy, and he makes consistent contact. He will need to liven his hands, improve his rhythm, and use more lower 1/2 in order for hitting numbers to get better.

Trevor showed as a 1B/LHP with increased arm action and consistency in other facets of his game since his last outing. On the hill, he threw three pitches - gathering over the rubber and separating on time. He was around the zone with his pitches, and will continue to improve pitchability with a throwing program to add velo. At first, he made some plays, knocking the ball down and worked with decent footwork around the bag. Loosening his actions and increasing his agility will enable greater defensive ability. Offensively, he was direct with the barrel and made contact. He will benefit form implementing a load - getting to a strong hitting position with better timing. Overall - Trevor has another two seasons to strengthen and improve his game.

Trevor is a young 1B/LHP that will graduate in 2015. At the plate is where he shows best through a balanced setup with rhythm. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact, mainly to the pull side. Hitting grades will continue to improve as he works to stay inside the ball to utilize all fields. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. At the event, he was 2 for 6. At 1B, feet are active as he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. He squares up ground balls, but needs to play through balls while presenting hands more out front to continue to improve defensive grade. On the mound, fastball showed range of 58-63 mph. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a hard worker with a great attitude and plays with a ton of energy. With 2 years to further develop, Trevor has abilities with time and room to improve.
