06/06/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Trevor continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a tremendous future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 6.78 runner. At the plate, hitting abilities are now at a pro level with superior power potential. He has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He shows a level swing path. The baseball jumps off the bat (94 mph exit velocity) when centered with power showing best to the pull side. At 1B, he has plus lateral range, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Hands are soft / sure and he consistently showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws (90 mph velocity) zipping across the diamond.

01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Trevor showed at 1B at the event and continues to show a tremendous future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through an open / athletic setup. Hands are quick, generating bat speed through an aggressive swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus and he has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are soft / sure and he showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt, saving throws. Trevor has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

12/04/2016 - College PREP - Crowley, TX Trevor continues to shine on the diamond. With the bat, this strong righty steps into the box with a purpose. He takes an aggressive hack and connects with power as the ball jumps off of his bat (exit velocity = 89 mph). Behind the plate, he sticks the ball with a soft mitt and firm wrist. Throws to 2B are on the bag quickly (88 mph) with impressive pop times now at 1.90. At 1B, Davis utilizes his big frame and has the ability to get to almost everything thrown his way. He moves well laterally and shows his athleticism. This 2018 grad has a ton of upside and will get looks to take his game to the next level.

07/25/2014 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City Trevor is an big / strong corner infielder that also pitches. In the infield he moves well laterally, uses the proper footwork with his approach, and has soft hands. He makes accurate throws across the diamond with good carry. At the plate he has an open stance, good load, and uses his lower half well. His balance is strong and he has quick bat speed hitting line drives consistently. On the mound Trevor pounds the zone with his fastball and isn't afraid to pitch to contact. He hides the ball well giving him good deception making him a tough look for hitters. He throws his curve for strikes and understands how to change speeds making him a solid option on the mound.

04/13/2014 - Interactive Video Program - Plano (DFW), TX Trevor is a 2-way player (3B/RHP) who has an athletic build. At the hot corner, he shows good prep footwork as he gains ground toward the ground ball. He fields the ball cleanly, has a quick exchange and fires accurate throws across the diamond. With the bat, this RH swinger shows an athletic setup with good balance. He delivers the barrel to and through the zone and creates extension. He squares the ball up consistently and drives it on a line. On the mound, Trevor has a 3-pitch mix coming from a 3/4 arm slot. FB ranges from 63-66 mph while CH has good potential to be a good pitch. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
