01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Trevor is a 2024 C/OF who showcased his talents at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Behind the plate, he has active feet and good range. He makes it easy for pitchers to pitch to him with a good target and receiving. He has a quiet head and keeps his eyes behind the ball. He throws from a high arm slot and had good accuracy to the first base side of second base on his throw downs. He did a great job of centering and keeping the ball in front of him while blocking. His best pop time was 2.03 seconds. At the plate, he starts from an athletic stance and has a strong base. He has an activated load and centered balance. He does a good job of staying inside the ball and showed signs of power. In game, he reached base several times with a pair of walks and a single. Going into his Senior season, we will continue to see Trevor to do great things on the baseball field.

06/09/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory All-State Tournament Trevor is a solid catcher who has a promising future on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering ball out front. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. Pop times showed in the 2.00 with accuracy / carry (89 mph velocity) on his throws. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying well above average hitting abilities with outstanding power ptoential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Trevor has a high skill set and will get looks from the college coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
