07/31/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Trevor is a coachable LHP/1B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Trevor makes the routine plays and works to make accurate throws to his target. Getting into a more athletic fielding position can help Trevor improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and works to barrel up the baseball, driving to his pull side. Trevor can improve as a hitter by working a smoother load into his swing. On the mound, Trevor gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Trevor shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 76mph with arm side run and sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 60-65mph with 2-8 break. Changeup sits from 66-67mph with tailing action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Trevor can improve as a pitcher by long tossing to build up his arm strength. Overall, Trevor is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.
