Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • RHP/SSPosition Projection

07/17/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Trevor is a hardworking RHP/SS prospect who has a lean build. On the mound, Trevor pitches with good rhythm and repeats his delivery. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action. Trevor stays square to home plate with a controlled landing at the proper stride length. He keeps his eyes on his target and has a balanced finished. His fastball shows movement and his curveball has loose spin. Offensively, Trevor has an open setup with his weight on his toes. He has a closed stride and wraps his bat with his load. Trevor has a long swing path and is developing bat speed. He understands situational hitting and battles through his ABs. Trevor shows solid contact to the pull side of the field. In the field, Trevor plays with effective footwork and makes the routine plays. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a square position with soft hands. Trevor has a clean exchange leading into a long arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He plays with good momentum through the baseball showing consistently strong accurate throws across the diamond. Overall, Trevor is a coachable prospect who has potential to advance his skills with development.

12/03/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Lewiston, ME Trevor is a solid, 2-way player as a SS/RHP. Defensively at SS, he hustles with active footwork into an athletic fielding position on GB's. He has a quick/clean exchange to throw and makes on-line throws to his target. On the hill, this righty gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He delivers a (FB, SL, CH) with loose arm action and pounds the zone with strikes. With the bat, Trevor shows an athletic setup with smooth rhythm. He whips his barrel on-plane fast through the zone and creates hard contact as he drives pitches on a line. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
