11/09/2017 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Trevor continues to show the makings of a special type player with improvements in his baseball abilities. At SS, he displays smooth / clean actions. Hands are clean and present well out front. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds/ turn of the double play. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work inside the baseball, utilizing all fields. He stays on plane and makes consistent hard contact through a line drive approach. At the event, he was 4 for 7. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 67 mph. Fastball showed a range of 63-67 mph. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

09/17/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Boise, ID Trevor is a talented (2022 grad) as a SS/RHP. Defensively at SS, he takes quick routes with (+) range and fields GB's in a low/athletic position. He funnels with soft hands and has a clean exchange to throw. On the mound, this righty gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He delivers with clean arm action and finishes in line towards home plate. With the bat, Trevor is a power hitter. He whips his barrel on a direct path fast through the zone and drives pitches with hard contact to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
