09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Trevor continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays fluid / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (84 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying outstanding power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop.

07/28/2020 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Trevor is a coachable C prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. Behind the plate, Trevor presents a good target and receives with a relaxed glove. He makes a clean exchange and replaces his feet to throw, keeping his throws accurate to the 2B bag. Moving quicker to block can help Trevor improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He gets his hands activated on time and hits against a strong front side. He takes a smooth swing with decent bat speed, leading to consistent contact and gap to gap pop. Trevor can improve as a hitter by taking more aggressive hacks. Overall, Trevor is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

02/02/2020 - College PREP - Mobile, AL Trevor is a C prospect who will graduate in 2022. Behind the plate, Trevor shows active footwork and moves well laterally to block. He presents a good target to the pitcher and tracks the ball into his glove. He makes a clean exchange and gains ground well on his throws, working to keep them accurate to the 2B bag. Sitting in a more athletic stance can help Trevor improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid getting into his load and takes a direct swing, spraying the ball to all fields. Trevor can improve as a hitter by maintaining center balance throughout his swing. Overall, Trevor is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
