07/29/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 This 5'10/210 lbs 3B/RHP displayed solid actions on all sides of the baseball at the Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City. With the stick, he showed strength at contact, generating good bat speed with his big frame. He showed a pull approach and worked to utilize more contact points in the cages to hit with power to all fields. Defensively, he made plays with flashes of sureness and an accurate arm. He was aggressive to come get the baseball, especially with slow-rollers, displaying the proper footwork to finish the play. During defensive instruction, Trey worked to get lower to field and to play with his thumbs connected for a quicker exchange & release. On the hill, Trey thew his FB from 74-79 and spun a 10/4 CB from 65-66. He worked in-line to the dish and gathered himself over the rubber to balance. He repeated nicely with a good tempo and worked quickly in his stretch. Overall - Trey is a competitor with a great baseball frame and time on his side to further develop with the drill set he garnered at the camp.
