07/31/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Trey is a coachable 1B/LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Trey shows smooth footwork and fields the ball out in front of his body. He throws with a clean arm and makes good double play feeds. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a relaxed stance and takes a short stride. He shows good rhythm and is explosive driving his lower half through. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact. On the mound, Trey gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and stays inline towards the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. Trey shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 81mph. Curveball sits from 64-66mph. Slider sits from 67-69mph. Overall, Trey is a solid prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.
