01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Trey is a tall 1B/LHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament. In the field, Trey shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate/on-line throws through his target. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a short swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and strong line drives. On the mound, Trey gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Trey shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 68mph with late arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 53-58mph with 1-7 break. With three more years to develop, Trey has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
