12/20/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1
Trey is a hardworking RHP/1B prospect who has a good feel for the game and potential to get even better. On the mound, Trey has a balanced delivery throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot with clean action. He is closed with his direction, but has the proper stride length and a controlled landing. He works with good tempo and features a fastball with run. His change-up mimics his fastball movement and his curveball has good break. Overall, Trey is a projectable prospect who has a solid set of skills that can progress with maturity.
10/23/2016 - College PREP - O'Fallon, MO
Trey is a tall, projectable RHP prospect who looks the part on the mound. He has a live, quick arm that gives his offerings good life and makes the ball explode at hitters. On the bump, he has solid mechanics, getting to a centered balance point and keeping his arm and body in sync as he separates. He finishes out over his front knee with extension to the plate, making the most of his long frame. He features a three pitch mix including a fastball in the upper 70's with tail, a 10-4 curve with good spin and a knuckleball with life. Strengthening his front side will lead to more power he can use to drive towards the plate, which will result in a tick up in velocity moving forward. At the dish, he is aggressive in his approach, looking to ambush early in the count. His rhythm is fluid to load and stride, with a strong lower half to generate power and drive the ball. Trey is a prospect we are excited to watch develop in his senior year.
