01/16/2015 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Trey is a tall, lean 1B/RHP that will graduate in 2016 with a promising future on the diamond at both positions. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying well above average power potential with outstanding power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick, generating bat speed to and through the baseball. He is aggressive and attacks ball, displaying leverage in his swing with baseball exploding off the bat when centered. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are soft / sure and he consistently showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 80-83 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for with sinking action. Off speed stuff show potential as being quality pitches at the next level. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Trey has potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches with baseball abilities, possibly as a two-way guy.
