06/20/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 (HS) Treyton 6'3/195 corner infielder in the 2023 class. Scouts were impressed with his athleticism, energy, feel for the game and ability to be a leader. His feet are active and he stays off his heels. Displays smooth actions and is agile in his angles to the ball. His hands are clean and he funnels well while working to position his feet for the throw. He can release from numerous slots based upon his defensive zone. At the plate, he has great barrel awareness and solid extension. His is on-time with the pitch (2 2B's on the wknd), and makes loud outs. Make strong use of his lower half create bat speed (86 exit velo). Working on arm strength and leg drive will increase his carry and accuracy. At the plate, staying inside his feet will maintain balance and a full finish. Overall, Treyton is a next level prospect who should receive offers when his time comes.

05/01/2022 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Glendale (Phoenix), AZ Treyton is an athletic 3B/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. In the field, Treyton shows fluid footwork and moves well to his backhand side. He fields in an athletic position and gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate/on-line throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth to load and engages his lower half well. He works through a level swing and drives the ball to his pull side with authority. On the mound, Treyton gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Treyton operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 67-69mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 64-67mph with arm side run and sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Treyton is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

12/05/2021 - All-In Membership - Chandler (Phoenix), AZ Treyton is a tall, 2-way player who plays 3B. Defensively, Treyton has soft hands, fluid/active feet, and he moves well to the ball. He covers ground, makes plays cleanly, and throws with a quick/accurate arm to his target. Solid INF skills can get better with added aggressiveness and playing more through the baseball. Offensively, Treyton has a square/athletic set-up, a short stride, and good balance. He has explosive bat speed, swings on plane, and hits with pop gap to gap. The ball jumps when centered as he connects and creates good extension on his finish. Battise is a solid 2023 prospect who should find success in this his junior year.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
