07/27/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Trez is a long, lean two-way prospect who uses his levers to his advantage both at the plate and on the mound. He is a smooth defender at second base who can go up the middle and into the hole to make tough plays. His hands work well to field out front and exchange quickly to throw. He shows good body control and can throw from multiple arm slots to get rid of the ball quickly, especially on the DP. He displays a strong load and stride to get to a powerful bat position and incorporate his lower half. He shows good barrel accuracy and stays balanced throughout his swing to make consistent contact to use all fields for base hits. On the bump, this RHP works from a low ¾ to side arm slot to create deception, especially to righties. His arm is loose and clean to generate whip and action on his pitches. He features a fastball that he can both cut and sink along with an 11-5 curveball that has tight spin and good depth to keep hitters off balance. Getting to a consistent release point will allow him to show better control and get more swings and misses from hitters. Trez is an interesting prospect who continues to improve and someone we look forward to watching during his senior season.
