09/24/2021 - MS All-Region Tournament
Tripp is a 2025 C prospect who showcased his skills at the All Region Tournament. Behind the plate, he shows good actions and feel. He has active feet and does a good job creating momentum on his throws to second base. Presents a low target and tries to work thumb under the baseball. Made accurate throws, with a quick release, and an arm velocity up to 84mph and a best pop time of 2.32 seconds. At the plate, he hits from a tall and even stance. Does a good job creating separation and works gap to gap. Shows some power potential with help from his physical frame. In game action, he hit multiple balls hard and showed good bat to ball skills. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Tripp making huge strides on the baseball field.
01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament
Tripp is a R/R catcher (2025 grad) who continues to show well on the diamond. With the bat, this righty displays a tall/open setup with centered balance and active hands to load. Swing is short/direct to and through the zone as he connects and creates good extension through contact. He hits the ball where it's pitched and sprays it to all parts of the field. Behind the dish, he sits in well presenting a low/soft target. Lateral actions are quick as he works to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of his chest. Transfer is clean with accurate throws down to 2B. Bemis has a ton of upside and has a bright future ahead as he continues to develop his skills and increase his strength.
12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic
Tripp continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate, power potential has improved through an athletic setup. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Behind the plate he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, but needs to work on getting down sooner and improve lateral movements. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.34. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the ball quicker. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and has great knowledge of the game. With 5 years to further develop, Tripp has a very high ceiling with time and room to progress his game.

Tripp continues to show solid upgrades in his game and did so in Denver. He increased arm strength to 69 MPH, exit velocity to 73 MPH, and lowered pop times to 2.38 seconds. Behind the plate, Tripp has active feet, a presentable glove, and he sits in low and athletically. He has good flexion, gains ground, and throws with solid direction to 2nd base. Offensively, Tripp has a tall stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He makes level/consistent contact, he centers well on the barrel, and he uses his lower 1/2.

Tripp is a thin, athletic, 2-way player who catches and plays SS. Behind the plate, Tripp has quick/fluid feet, soft hands, and he sits in well. He sticks the ball, centers when blocking, and has an accurate arm with direction to 2nd base. At SS, Tripp has quick/fluid feet, he fields low and smoothly, and has a quick release across the diamond. Offensively, Tripp has an athletic set-up, good balance, and he loads well. He swings in good rhythm, makes level/consistent contact, and he uses his lower body. Overall skills can get better if Tripp can work on the following.
