Exclusive College Recruiting Program Tristan is an athletic 2025 SS prospect out of the Netherlands who combines his baseball toolset with athletic potential. Defensively, he has a quick first step and shows rhythm moving to the baseball with fluid footwork through and soft hands into a quick transfer. With arm strength to stick at SS and the fundamental skill set he will profile as a strong MIF defensive prospect. At the plate he starts from a slight crouch and moves into the launch position with quiet actions. As his swing begins he shows the ability to use his lower half for bat speed and the barrel control to get in the zone early with a compact swing path. There is feel for the barrel with a gap-to-gap type of approach that will play to his skill set with pull side lift and shows HR power potential which will continue to improve as he continues to add strength. Overall, Tristan is an excellent MIF prospect for the 2025 class with defensive ability while showing the offensive tools and profile to play in a college lineup.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
