08/05/2019 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training at Pirate City (Ages 12-14)
Tristin is a coachable SS/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Pro Select Training at Pirate City. In the field, Tristin takes a good first step and shows active footwork. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and throws with a loose arm, keeping his throws accurate with carry through his target. Long tossing to build up his arm strength can help Tristin improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a closed stance and takes a square stride. He takes a level swing and rotates his core well, leading to solid contact. Tristin can improve as a hitter by getting his stride foot down sooner. With six more years to develop, Tristin has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
