Troy continues to show a promising future on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, defensive abilities are now solid as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, hitting and power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and aggressive as he attacks balls in the zone. Swing path is level and he shows a feel for the barrel with strength in his swing. The baseball explodes off the bat when centered.

Troy continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he displays smooth actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He reads balls well off the bat and works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will continue to improve as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate he shows a crouched / open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to improve as he works to utilize his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

Troy is an athletically built OF who will graduate in 2018. Defensively, Troy has playable hands and feet and he shows good range to the ball. He has a clean exchange, gains momentum, and has good direction toward his target. Troy will need to quicken his feet, play lower with more sure hands, and add arm strength for defense to get better. Offensively, Troy has an open set-up, square stride, and an aggressive approach. He puts the bat on the ball but will need to work on balance, lower ½, and barrel accuracy for hitting to improve.
