10/19/2019 - Accelerated Interactive Video Program - Salt Lake City, UT Tyler is a 1B/LHP prospect who will graduate in 2025. In the field, Tyler gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws consistent with carry through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and gets into his load well. He takes a level swing and gets good extension through the ball, leading to solid line drives. On the mound, Tyler shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 62mph with tailing action. Changeup sits from 52-54mph. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
