12/27/2013 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City Tyler is a skilled 2-way player as a RHP/3B who loves to compete. On the mound, he works to a controlled balance point and gets downhill off the rubber. He gets good glove tuck and strides in-line, staying directional toward the dish. FB velocity will rise as he drives off the mound with his lower 1/2. At the hot corner, he is a aggressive and comes to get the ball. He works to field it out in front and plays through the slow-roller well. As a hitter, Kennedy shows a closed stance with a solid base. He has good strike zone awareness and waits for his pitch (proven by his 5 walks). Getting back into a loaded position early and using his lower 1/2 throughout the swing will help to increase power. Tyler is only a sophomore who works hard and will continue to improve.
