04/30/2017 - College PREP - Fort Myers, FL Tyler is an intriguing, young RHP/1B prospect. At 1B, Tyler makes the routine play, gets his feet into the right position to make the throw to second, and makes accurate throws. If he continues to have active pre pitch movement, present a low/early glove, field on the balls of his feet, and transfer the ball in front of his body, he will be a more complete 1B. As a hitter, Tyler has a balanced stance, tracks the ball well and has a repeatable swing. If he continues to create separation in his hands, drive his lower half to the ball, attack the inside part of the ball, and keep his front side closed at contact, he will be a more consistent hitter. As a pitcher, Tyler keeps his eyes on his target, stays balanced over the rubber, and rides his backside toward the plate. Creating fluid separation in his hands and being on time with his arm swing will allow him to be more consistent in the strike zone.
