08/03/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Tyler is a solid/strong 2-way player with mature habits on the diamond. Defensively, he moves quickly on the balls of his feet tracking down everything. His efficient routes and angles to balls help him get around and make a quick throws with accuracy. He flashes a strong arm (86mph), making him a threat in any OF. As a RHP, he throws from a Hi 3/4-arm slot with smooth rhythm while staying directional toward the plate. Good tempo and confidence helps Tyler mow down hitters. He keeps them off balance with two off-speed pitches with feel. Continuing to gain experience on the rubber will only help Tyler progress as a pitcher. At the plate, he hits from a square stance with active hands. He uses his lower 1/2 and clean bat path to power through the zone and drives the ball to the gaps. He is an aggressive base runner that thinks two out of the box. Overall, Tyler impressed a lot of coaches and will continue to do so as he works on his skills.
