Tyler is a lean, athletic 3B who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through an athletic, crouched setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He utilizes his lower half well and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws display accuracy but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. With 5 years to further develop, Tyler has the makings of a special type player with time and room to progress his game.
