Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range in the MIF. Throws are accurate with carry (88 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop.

At SS, he shows fluid actions working right to left through the GB. Hands are presented out in front as he funnels to a quick/clean transfer. He can make the backhand play with ease and fire strong throws with zip (81 mph velocity) across the diamond. A projectable R/R SS - Tyler has a bright future ahead of him in the game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
