07/28/2020 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Tyler is a coachable 2B/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Tyler fields the ball out in front of his body and makes accurate throws to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Tyler improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a controlled stride. He rotates his core through the zone and produces solid line drives. Tyler can improve as a hitter by working a smoother load into his swing. On the mound, Tyler gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and stays inline toward the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. Tyler shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 65mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 53-55mph with 10-4 break. Extending through his release can help Tyler improve as a pitcher. Overall, Tyler is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.
