On the mound, Tyler gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Tyler shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 85mph. Breaking ball sits from 68-72mph with late 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 70-72mph with tailing action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Tyler shows efficient footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He fields with soft hands and has a quick exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly, making on-line throws with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through a closed setup. He works through a short swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and great pull side power (87mph exit velo). Overall, Tyler is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.
