01/13/2017 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 14-18) Tylor is a tall, lean 2017 2B prospect who works hard and shows the ability to take coaching and improve his game. He is a very reliable defender at second, making all of the routine plays, the hallmark of a good middle infielder. He ranges well to his glove side and can get to the hole to field hard hit balls and take away base hits. His footwork on DP turns is quick and he gains momentum to his target to cut down the distance on throws. At the dish, he shows a square setup with a powerful load and on time stride. His path is direct to the ball and he makes hard, line drive contact to make himself a tough out in every at-bat. Seeing more game pitching will help him recognize pitches earlier and improve his approach at the plate. Tylor is a great kid and a player that we look forward to following as he continues to develop.
