07/24/2019 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Victor is an athletic SS that will graduate in 2020. Victor shows athletic and agile actions up the middle showing range to both sides. He creates good direction and fields the ball athletic and low. Fielding with a firm glove, he gets a clean exchange getting rid of the ball quickly with accurate throws around the diamond. Victor sets up square at the plate with a small load getting a short stride to get his foot down on time. He rotates well creating a short swing making solid oppo contact. Getting on a strength and conditioning program will help Victor advance his overall game to reach the next level. Victor shows good tools to compete at a middle infield position.

12/27/2018 - Under Armour Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic (Ages 14-18) Victor is a lean SS who has a promising future on the diamond. In the MIF, defensive abilities are solid as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is sure and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turns of the double play. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. With 2 years to further develop, Victor has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
