02/25/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Santa Barbara, CA Taer is a lean, athletic, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Taer has quick/active feet, agile movements, and his hands are soft. He moves well to the ball, fields smoothly, and throws with a quick arm action with carry to his target. On the mound, Taer has a polished delivery, a loose arm action, and he gets good extension on his pitches. At the plate, Taer has a square/athletic set-up, a short/square stride, and he swings in good rhythm. He has fast bat speed, makes hard/consistent contact, and the ball jumps off of his bat. Taer can get better with work on the following.

Defense
1. Long toss
Pitching
1. Work downhill
Offense
1. Lower body
2. Finish

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
