07/27/2023 - Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Vincent is an athletic OF/RHP in the 2025 class. Defensively, he shows a relaxed feel and smooth footwork. Gets behind the baseball and gets great reads off the bat. Moves with agility and is on-time to field the baseball. Arm plays at 83 and is accurate back to the dirt. On the mound, he operates with a 2-pitch mix from a loose arm. His FB sat 71-4 with tailing movement. His CB shaped at 11-5 with medium break. At the plate, he is a high contact rate hitter with solid bat speed (82 exit velo). Looks comfortable in the box and his timing and actions are free and easy. Shows line drive power to the alleys. Overall, solid two-way player.

05/21/2023 - National Showcase - Monterey Park (Los Angeles), CA Vincent is a strong and athletic OF in the 2025 class. In the field, his feet work well with his body and covers his area well. Shows an athletic fielding position and advanced pocket feel. Likes to work behind the baseball and creates angles where he stays outside the ball. Arm action is short and throws the top of the baseball. Works through the ball on his feeds back to the dirt and is on-line at 81 velo. At the plate, he begins in a squared stance and looks comfortable in the box. Stays squared to the dish well and gets into his legs. Timing is smooth and stays inside his feet. Bat speed is explosive at 85 and the ball explodes off his bat. Overall, Vincent is a must follow in the 2025 class.

11/13/2022 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Martinez is a 2025 graduate of La Quinta High School in Southern California. There is evident strength in his body proven by his 8'5" broad jump, 83mph arm strength and 87mph exit velocity at the plate. In the outfield, he shows life in his body and takes proper routes/angles to the ball. In the infield, the glove works and he displays active footwork. At the plate is where he really shines with balance and fluidity in his swing resulting in consistent barrel contact. With 3 years of high school baseball in front of him, Vincent should continue to impress with his abilities.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
