03/28/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Washington (Pittsburgh), PA Vincent is a 2026 SS/OF. Medium frame with an athletic build and plenty of room and time to mature physically. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary SS, scrappy player who shows good fundamentals in the infield. Quick/active feet who has good range to either side. Showed good glove angles both on glove side and back hand. Feel for adjusting his hands to the ball and shows a quick release getting the ball across the diamond on time. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with accurate/online throws across the diamond at 75mph. Secondary OF with active feet that creates good angles. Aggressive on groundballs with good range. Creates momentum on his online throws into the infield. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a square and upright stance. Short/direct path to the ball allow him to make consistent contact. Stays flat through the zone as he drives balls into both gaps. Continued growth and development will bode well for his opportunities at the high school level and beyond.

10/06/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Washington (Pittsburgh), PA Vincent showed nice improvements in his game during his last workout in Washington, PA. He raised arm velocity to 62 MPH, exit velocity to 65 MPH, and showed offensive and defensive upgrades. At 3rd, Vincent has fluid feet, agile movements, and soft hands. He has athletic actions, makes plays consistently, and his exchange is clean with accuracy across the diamond. In the OF, Vincent has efficient footwork, he moves with agility to the ball, and he works behind fly balls well. He fields aggressively and throws with accuracy and momentum to his cut off man. At the plate, Vincent has a square/athletic stance, good balance, and he swings aggressively. He flashes some bat speed, makes hard contact, and he uses his lower body. Skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

10/07/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Washington, PA Vincent is a thin, 2-way player who plays SS and OF. In the INF, Vincent has good actions, he fields in a square position, and he keeps the ball in front of his body. He has a clean exchange and an accurate arm across the diamond. In the OF, Vincent has athletic actions, he makes plays consistently, and throws with a quick exchange and accuracy to his cut off man. Offensively, Vincent has a square set-up, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He swings on plane, makes consistent contact, and he uses his lower body. Overall skills can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
