01/17/2014 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament Walker is a tall, slender first baseman and RHP. At first, Walker has a clean glove, quick hands, and has solid body control around the bag. His throws display carry as he follows through on his throws. Walker can improve by giving better feeds and playing lower to the ground. At the plate, Walker has a solid base and loads well with his hands. He uses his 6'6 well for leverage and attacks all balls in the strike zone. Utilizing more of the field and not trying to lift the ball hill help improve offensive grades. On the mound, Walker shows good mechanics and the ability to work through jams. He tends to cut off his release, restricting his arm action. Utilizing his lower half more and not opening up on his heel should improve grades on the mound and increase velocity. Overall, Walker is a competitor and works extremely hard. His work ethic should help him continue to develop and get looks at the next level.
