01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Wesley is a solid (6'1"/215) RHH who can make things happen in a multitude of ways on the diamond. With the bat, this righty stands in well with centered balance and active hands. He has fluid rhythm to load, gets back to a strong launch position and fires the barrel at pitches he likes. He puts the bat on the ball consistently and battles at the plate, proving to be a tough out. The ball jumps off of the bat when centered, evident from his 91 mph exit velocity. At 3B, he works lightly on the balls of his feet right to left around the GB and into a square fielding position. Hands are presented out front and he funnels to a clean transfer/exchange. Throws are accurate with carry across the diamond. This 2020 grad has a ton of upside and will find success as he enters his junior season.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
