06/14/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series (Ages 14-18) Weston is an OF/RHP that showed as a hard worker out in Omaha. In the OF Weston showed good range finishing through the baseball. His exchanges were clean and showed good accuracy on his throws. A long toss program can help improve his arm strength. At the plate Weston sets up in a slightly open stance with high hands. He gets a good load with a short stride and produces a compact swing. His barrel works on plane and makes consistent contact with the ball. On the mound Weston works out of the stretch and gathers over the rubber well. His separation is fluid and strides in line to the target, finishing with his chest over his knee. He also showed a 3-pitch mix with a FB, CB, CH. The FB showed good command, the CB had 12-6 sharp break with command, and the CH was a little hard but showed some depth. Weston showed lots of potential to the coaches in Omaha, with strength and conditioning and 3 years to develop Weston has a chance to become a better player.
