Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 3B/RHPPosition Projection

09/08/2019 - College PREP - Oak Creek (Milwaukee), WI Will is a strong 3B/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2021. In the field, Will shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and shows good carry on his throws. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He hits against a strong front side and produces solid line drives. On the mound, Will gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Will shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph with late arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 72-73mph with sharp 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 69-72mph with arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Will is a talented prospect who should find success going into his junior season.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
