Will showed very well at both positions and at the plate during his last workout with The Factory. He increased velocity (62 MPH), lowered 60 time (8.5 seconds), and showed a spike in exit velocity (70 MPH). In the OF, Will has simple/aggressive actions, fluid footwork, and he moves with agility to the ball. He has soft hands, a clean exchange, and he throws with consistency from a long arm action to his cut off man. At 1st base, Will covers ground, fields athletically, and shows good feet around the bag. Offensively, Will has a solid base, a good hand load, and he swings in good rhythm. He takes a square stride toward the pitcher, swings on plane, and uses his lower body. Skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

07/06/2018 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (Ages 12-14)
Will showed nice offensively and defensively during his time at the Cape. He is a coachable team player who wants to get better. At 1B, Will moves well around the bag, his feet are efficient, and he presents his glove well. He is a big target, he picks it well out of the dirt, and throws with accuracy and consistency from a loose arm action. Offensively, Will has good balance, a short stride, and he creates nice leverage. He has a consistent/direct barrel to the ball, and power potential in his bat. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Will.

Will is a solid, 2-way player who plays 1B and OF. In the INF, Will has efficient footwork, athletic actions, and he moves well around the bag. He presents his glove well, has a quick/clean exchange, and throws with accuracy from a long arm action to his target. In the OF, Will tracks the ball well, he works through properly, and throws with accuracy to his cut off man. At the plate, Will has a square/athletic set-up, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He loads well, has a short/direct swing path, and can work the ball gap to gap. Will can improve skills with work on the following.
