12/20/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 William is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City. In the field, William makes the routine plays and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate across the diamond. Getting into a lower fielding position can help William field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He engages his lower half well and drives the ball from gap to gap. William can generate more pop off the barrel by getting more extension through his swing. On the mound, William gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and accelerates through his release, staying inline toward the plate. William operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 76mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 63-65mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 67-69mph. Long tossing can help William build up his arm strength. Overall, William is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
