William continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the plate, he threw his lowest pop time to date at 2.55 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Feet are quick in gaining ground through a clean transfer / exchange. He shows a solid setup, sticks balls well in the zone, and utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner. At 1B, he displays smooth / fluid actions. He works to square ball up and makes the routine plays. He displays proper footwork around the bag and he is a quality receiver. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive approach. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.
