Exclusive College Recruiting Program a compactly built strong athlete with the ability to stick behind the plate and provide impact on the offensive side. Will has a balanced RH swing with bat speed to handle velocity and provide some impact power to his pull side. More of a gap to gap hitter with leverage for doubles power than true over the fence potential, but a feel for the barrel and consistency to hit in the lower/middle of an order. His arm is a true strength with workout pop times consistently in the 1.9’s and playing at a consistent sub 2.0 range in game. The ball has carry and accuracy from a quick release. Strong wrists with soft hands and an awareness of how to receive and present borderline strikes with athleticism behind the play gives him the true ability to stick behind the plate. As well, while not a burner as a runner there is enough athleticism paired with his arm strength and baseball IQ to play a corner OF spot where his bat will be able to handle a position change if necessary. Has great work ethic with a competitive mindset and a desire to push himself. There is an intriguing mix of defensive and offensive abilities with Will currently and projectable development to make him a high quality player.

02/26/2022 - All-In Membership - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA William is an athletic C/OF who is a prospect on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off a soft chest. Runners will not want to test his cannon for an arm (89 mph) with impressive pop times of 1.98. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws (on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (86 mph exit velocity) as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field. William has a tremendous upside and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
