06/03/2014 - College PREP - Glen Burnie, MD William showed very well at the plate and stayed gap to gap and up the middle in the workout. He has a repeatable swing and consistently centers it up at contact. Has hand action, head position and holds the ground well throughout the swing. In the INF William has great hands and no glove time. Fields from the right and plays through the ball. His feet work better than 60 may indicate, works well side to side. Feeds and turns were quick and clean. Very athletic player that would make a solid addition to a college program.

01/26/2014 - College PREP - Delray Beach, FL William is a middle infielder who has quick hands. Defensively, he shows good prep and works on the balls of his feet. He moves well laterally as he works through the ground ball and works in-line toward 1B. At the plate, this Rh swinger shows good balance with and athletic setup. He delivers the barrel quickly to and through the zone, driving it on a line. Getting back into a loaded position sooner will help to improve timing and increase contact consistency. Korn has skills and should find success on the diamond.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
