04/08/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Hattiesburg, MS WP is a lean, 2-way player who plays OF and RHP. Defensively, WP has quick feet, agile movements to the ball, and he fields in an athletic position. He attacks aggressively, tracks the ball well, and throws with accuracy from a long arm action to his target. On the mound, WP has a quick/clean arm action, he gets good extension on his pitches, and rotates through to his target. At the plate, WP has an open stance, a square stride, and he tracks the ball well. He makes hard contact, can hit to all fields, and he uses his lower body. WP can improve skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
