12/15/2018 - Texas Regional Offensive Skills Weekend (Ages 12-14) Wyatt is a coachable 2B prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Texas Offensive Skills Weekend. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He gets his hands activated and hits from a strong front side. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed and displays plus barrel control. Getting his stride foot down sooner can help Wyatt improve as a hitter. With four more years to develop, Wyatt has the time and potential to further progress his skills at the plate.

07/14/2018 - Baseball Factory D.C. All Star Experience (Ages 12-14) Wyatt is a coachable 2B/SS prospect who continued to work hard on his skills during his time at the D.C. All Star Experience. In the field, Wyatt shows fluid footwork and is very agile covering ground. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He has a clean exchange and makes accurate, on-line throws to his target. Wyatt can improve defensively by consistently watching the ball into his glove. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He maintains center balance and drives the ball to his pull side. Wyatt can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. With five years to develop, Wyatt has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

03/04/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Plainview (Lubbock), TX Wyatt is a young 2nd baseman who graduates in 2023. Defensively, Wyatt has active/efficient footwork, soft hands, and he fields in a low/athletic position. He takes good angles to the ball, centers well on his body, and throws with a short/quick arm action from a quick exchange. Offensively, Wyatt has a square set-up, he loads well, and uses some lower body. He rotates through the ball well and can spray to all fields. Wyatt can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Defense
1. Use 2 hands
2. Double plays
3. Arm strength
Offense
1. Lower body
2. Rhythm
3. Swing path

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
