01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Wyatt is a very talented R/R 2-way player (2B/RHP) who has progressed nicely over the years. He's a solid athlete with speed and a strong arm that can make things happen in a multitude of ways on the diamond. Defensively, he shows his athleticism with quick/active footwork moving fluidly right to left through the ground ball. Hands are presented out in front as he funnels the ball smoothly to a clean transfer. Throws are accurate and on a line with zip (87 mph). As a hitter, Wyatt steps into the box looking to swing it. He gets loaded, whips the barrel to and through the zone with plus bat speed and connects with pop. This results in consistent/hard line-drives (he collected a 1B and a 2B in game AB's). Beasley also has the ability to get on the mound and compete. Mechanics are sound and delivery is repeatable as he attacks hitters filling up the zone with strikes. FB sits in the mid 80's topping out 86 mph. Breaking ball complements his FB well as it has 11/5 shape and he has faith to throw it in any count for a strike. A solid 2-way prospect - Wyatt has a bright future ahead of him in the game.
